Who I Am

Hello and welcome!

I am Sabrina Springer - owner and therapist here at Wild & Wander Therapy Services. I hold a Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) license in Washington state. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Puget Sound with an M.Ed. in School Counseling. Prior to working in the mental health realm of therapy, I worked as an Elementary School Counselor where I felt like much of my time was spent putting out fires, so-to-speak.  After spending a few years raising my babies as a SAHM, I followed my heart and took the leap to pursue licensure as a Mental Health Therapist. In 2022, I completed the Clinical Mental Health Counseling post-master’s certificate program from Antioch University and opened my private practice, Wild & Wander Therapy Services.

I’d always dreamed of a career that was the perfect fit for me. I wasn’t sure it was truly possible though. That is until I got here. My work as a Mental Health Therapist checks all of the boxes for me. I love the one-on-one connections I get to have with my clients and how present and mindful I have to be in each session, giving my clients my undivided attention. As a former anxiety warrior and queen of being able to “wear many hats”, this role has been incredibly helpful for me as well. I’ve learned that I can be valuable, just as I am, here and now, without having to be constantly running from one thing to the next.

I became a Mental Health Therapist because I've seen therapy lead to beautiful transformations and healing. I have also lived through struggles of my own before. I’ve carried shame & pain, been stuck, lost, and lonely before. I know how incredibly resilient the human heart and spirit can be. Because of this, my approach is strengths-based and client-centered. I bring a deep commitment to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where my clients can feel safe to explore their inner world, navigate challenges, and take the steps towards living their lives more authentically.

In my personal life, I am a wife and a mom to two kiddos & two kitties. I absolutely love cooking, camping, crafting, Thai food, iced London fogs, and spending time with my loved ones.
